Friede's Restaurant at 455 Court Street, Watertown, New York.

Ready for a real slice of northern new york with a side of hot, crispy hash browns? My favorite part about this place, besides the great, friendly staff, is the fact that my coffee mug is never empty. A small thing to some, but Friede's could serve me fried dirt and I wouldn't mind until I saw the bottom of my mug.

The menu features good, simple comfort food, although I've never ordered much besides the breakfast (what more could you ask for?), but it's been explained to me that their meatloaf is amazing.

Their kitchen and flattop is clean. Their staff is wonderful, and their prices are downright honest and fair. The corned beef hash is crispy, and the customers are the realest northern new yorkers you'll ever encounter. What are you waiting for?
